Maternity Policy

The law relating to maternity rights is complex and employees are advised to read through the following pages and to consult with their line manager as soon as possible to ensure maximum support and information can be provided so that their pregnancy and maternity leave can be fully enjoyed. All employees are entitled to 52 weeks of maternity leave and, for the first 39 weeks of maternity leave employees are eligible for either Statutory Maternity Pay (SMP), Enhanced Maternity Pay (EMP) or Maternity Allowance (MA), dependant on their length of service and levels of pay.

Grievance Policy
