Founders Hub hits 2,000 members in under a year

It’s mid-July 2022 and there are several things of note. It’s the highest heat wave England has ever seen, the UK starts the hunt for a new Prime Minister after Boris Johnson resigns, and Founders Hub got their 2,000th member.

Founders Hub is a community set up by Sopro, a tech start-up based in Brighton.

The community welcomes Founders who are looking for guidance and support from other Founders – it’s been put together to help people flourish and grow when starting up a new business. Members of the community can benefit from open and honest advice from other people who are either in the same position as them or have been. The idea is for Founders to support each other.

Luke Brice, Founders Hub’s Commercial Manager said:

“It was great to join Founders Hub when I did. So much groundwork had been laid and momentum was already building with member numbers growing daily, and to be here when we tipped over 2,000 members was an awesome moment.

“With more members, we’ve seen huge increases in conversation, engagement, and positive relationship building within the Founders Hub community, and this alongside some big in-house developments in the pipeline gives me great hope for the future of our community members and what we can help them achieve.”

Founders Hub opens a conversation that otherwise wouldn’t happen. Michael Millward from Abeceder H2R, and member of Founders Hub, said:

“There is a quality to the discussions on Founders Hub that I have not seen on other platforms.

“I suppose it must be because the community all have something in common. We are all founders of businesses that are at different stages of development, we have all experienced the highs and the lows that come with being a founder of a business. So, it’s all about sharing the lessons learnt as well as celebrating the successes.”

The Founders Hub numbers keep growing and we expect to see 3,000 members by the end of the year. Working together members can help promote, expand and grow their own and their peers’ businesses.
